Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. Approximately 1 in 8 women (13.1%) will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in their lifetime. The incidence of breast cancer has been declining in recent years, likely due to improved screening and treatment.
Over 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million. About 1 in 9 people age 65 and older has Alzheimer's.
By 2050, the number of people age 65 and older with Alzheimer's may grow to a projected 12.7 million, barring the development of medical breakthroughs to prevent or cure Alzheimer's disease.
